Accessing our mobile app
Our app is available for most Royal London or Scottish Life pensions taken out since 2004. It's also available for Royal London Stocks and Shares ISAs taken out since September 2025.
If you haven't registered your account, tap register once you've downloaded the app and follow the instructions to get your account set up.
If you've already activated your account simply login once you've downloaded the app.
Plans not available on the app
Pensions plans taken out with us before 2004 or with any of the following providers aren't available on the app:
- Friends Provident
- Refuge Assurance
- Royal Liver
- United Friendly
- Canterbury Life
- National and Provincial Policy
If you have one of these plans you can access it through online service.
Co-operative Insurance Service (CIS)
Unfortunately, plans originally taken out with the Co-operative Insurance Service (CIS) aren't currently available online or through the app.
Frequently asked questions
What security does the app have?
We’ve tested our mobile app extensively to make sure it’s secure, so you can use it with confidence.
Our app also supports face and fingerprint recognition, also known as biometrics. So, you can log in to the app using fingerprint or face recognition. This works across both iOS and Android devices but depends what type of phone you have.
We have two-factor authentication in place to make your account more secure. This extra step helps prevent unauthorised access, even if someone knows your password. It’s a straightforward way to strengthen account security and protect sensitive information. If you're already using biometrics you won't require two-factor authentication to log in to your account.
I’m having problems logging in to see my plan, why is this?
If you're having problems logging in to view your plan there are a couple of reason why that might be.
Your plan becomes accessible on our app once your first contribution has been made. If you have a new plan this might be why you can’t log in or register.
Our mobile app is only available for some plans. So it could be that your plan currently is not available via our mobile app. You can see a list of plans not currently available on the app on this page.

What changes can I make to my plan in the app?
At the moment, you can add or update your beneficiaries through our mobile app.
For any changes to your investments you can change or update these using our online service, and if you need to make changes to your personal details, you simply need to contact us.
I have some questions about what I can see in the app, who should I speak to?
If any of your details are incorrect, or you don’t understand something in the app, you can contact us.
We won’t be able to give you financial advice, so if you have questions about your retirement goals, you should speak to an adviser. If you don't have an adviser, you can take a look at our guide to ‘Where to look for a financial adviser’.
